Comments: Co. C F.A. Bn, 7th Infantry Division. Korea 1952-1954. Cpl. Guy Hensley was my grandfather and sadly passed away recently. I am on a dedicated mission to find out as much as possible about him. Any help in pointing me to a website or other resource that would tell me Company specific information would be helpful. Or anyone who knows the name would be outstanding. Thank you for your time.

Comments: Greetings! I am looking for some of the buddies I went to basic with and served in Korea during 55 and 56. Closest "town" was Moon Son Yee. Memory being what it is, I only remember a few names: Ralph Kosik, John Spizari (sp?), and Harold Kakahuna (sp?). We served under Cpt. King who made that year and a half bearable. I served with wonderful men! I miss you all and hope some of you contact me.

Comments: My father ran away from home in Bandera, Texas in May of 1935 to join the Army, as it was much easier than ranch work. He had to lie about his age. (He was only 17)Two weeks into basic he was sent to OTC in Kansas. Before his 18th birthday in August of 1935 he became an officer. He was known at Fort Hood, Texas as the 30 Day Wonder Boy! Help me find someone who knew him. I was very young when he died.

Most of us in that unit were draftees and after Basic traing at Ft Dix, about 15 or 20 of us ended up together in this unit for 2 years....It was OJT only then...thats On the Job Training;). I heard this unit no longer exists after being transferred outa Sill to Ft Campbell to support the 101Air Assault Div....with the new M198 155mm howitzer. We had the old M114 155mm guns....and the FDC had ...........o God...no:)...FADAC!!...it weighed as much as the truck carring it:)....and when the generators went down...it went down...so manual backup in the FDC was always the rule...as it is today too i guess....whatever....Field Artillery still rules!!!!:)...

My dad was in the 31st FA BN of the 7th Inf Div. in Korea about from
May '53- Aug. '54. His name is Don E. Alldredge. He was then sometime
transfered to the HQ & HQ Btry of the 7th Artillery of the 7th Div.

Some of the names he speaks of are: Frank Pierce, a Sidney, (I can't
remember the last name,) I believe it was Sisco. Would like to know if
there are any future plans of anyone having a reunion of the 7th Div.
for those who served during this era.

Dad said that he went to Korea on the Marine Phoenix, and when he came
back, guess what!....Yea, the Marine Phoenix again. Anyway, wonder what
ever happened to that boat, and howmany trips it and others made.

Please Contact Don @ Don Alldredge
