313/86 EUD, X CORPS HQ. |
| MILTON IOSSI wrote on February 3, 2008 City and State: SALISBURY NC Unit: 313TH EUD-86TH EUD, X CORPS HQ. Service or Relationship: ARMY VETERAN Comments: Served in the 313th EUD of the 24th Engr. Group. at X Corps HQ. during 1952 and 1953. The unit was formally attached to X Corps Hq. in 1953 and renamed the 86th EUD. It also included the 86th EFFD (fire fighting) and 86th EWTD (water truck), so we had three morning reports each day - and the TO and E did not include a typewriter. Would be interested in exchanging memories of "frozen Chosen" with other veterans of the EUDs at that time (summer 1952 to fall 1953). Milt Iossi Keywords: |
