During that time there were several military personnel manning the Ship-to-Shore Radio Circuits supporting the Army Transport Service. Included were: Staff Sergeants Eugene Latkowski and John Swango; M/Sgt Carlos Burton; Sergeants McCuen and McClung; Cpls Kenneth Carter, David Stein, Koichi Nishida, Fujio Matsui and myself. I would like to hear from anyone who knew or knows these people or others who were there at that time. I would also like to have an address or website where 304th memorabilia is available.

Comments: This is in response to THOMASJ.REED@LAW.WIDENER.EDU I served in Korea in the 507th Sig Opn Co but was in the 304th Signal Bn all of 1949 until May of 1950. I was in the Wire Co. I was absent most of the time in Signal Training but was fairly well acquainted with the Bn Personnel. I donn't remember Lawrence Lingo by name but perhaps I would recognize his picture. If readers remember me from the 304th in 1949 and early in 1950 or if members of the 507th Sig Op Co remember me from Sept 50 to the last part of 1951 please reply..Woul;d love to hear from the MacIntosh Twins from North Carolina. Thanks. Avin H. Roberts MARG7208@PRODIGY.NET

Comments: I recall the NCOIC of the photo lab as Culpepper.I'd remember other names if I heard them, I'm sure. One fellow was from the coldest weather reporting station in Colorado. The 304th has a reunion every year or so. Contact Gene Bosken, 132 South Westlink Drive, Wichita, KS 67209 to get on the newsletter list.Since they keep adding to their roster, they may be able to help you find someone from the 304th. I'd like to hear from anyone who served in the photolab in 55-56.

From: DanCarson@aol.com
I just found this Web page, just taking a first look, and I'm delighted.
I was with the 304th Signal Bat. 8th Army from Jan to Mar of 53,
then with the 3rd Signal Co, 3rd Infantry Division from April 53 to
April 54. Rcvd Air Medal & Bronze Star
Will continue to explore the project and if I can help I'd like to.
