Even got a commendation for it. I am so glad I missed Viet Nam, and I am so glad I am a civilian.

radio-teletype truck and the other guy's VHF hut. Had to drive
9 miles twice a day to eat with the 38th Engineers.
On one occasion, somebody cut through our concertina wire fence
during the night and stole 2 of our 3 duplex antenna poles.
We were about 9 miles from the DMZ. Made us a bit nervous as
the ROK army had set up twin 50's on a hill just above our
compound with orders to destroy our compound in case we
were over run.
Many of us returning from Korea were stationed at Ft. Carson,
Co but I never met up again with any of the guys I knew in
Korea.
