Comments: PORKCHOP HILL (7TH DIVISION;17TH INFANTRY)(CHARLIE CO./HOUR GLASS DIVISION} Comments: I would very much like to hear from anyone that served with my Father on Porkchop Hill.I'm sure he would appreciate seeing them again also.He served the Army from 1951-1954.He was given a Purple Heart (Can't find it);but like many others I am told cannot receive their medals unless someone comes forward as a witness to their actions in war because of paperwork in those years.His seperation paper says he was to receive a Purple Heart and 2 Bronz stars. It is more important to me that he receives them because I am sure he deserves them. I would also like to contact a Native American Indian friend from Washington that served with him. He remembers his friend named After The Buffalo; (It may be After The White Buffalo)and has always spoke of how brave he was.He invited my Dad to the rez when they returned but my Dad was more afraid back then I think to visit a rez than dealing with Korea. Comments: I am looking for information on Sgt. Leonard S. York. He was drafted in 1951. I have numerous pictures of his unit and buddies. The only names that I can make out are J.E. Myers, Hugh Cullums, John Joplin and Sgt. Harman House. The writing is old, so they could be spelled different. If anyone would like them, please contact me. I also have a picture of Sgt. Comments: I am looking for anyone who remembers my father, Carroll W. Young, who served from 1950 to 1953. I am his youngest daughter and have just recieved his old war papers from my mother. He passed away while I was very young, and I am hoping to re connect with anyone who might have known him. He served in Korea, in the "H" 364 Inf. Regt. and the "B" 38th Inf. Regt. I do not know any additional information, as little was kept. I do know that he rescued two men from enemy attack on May 17 1951 near Panmegi-ri Korea, but do not know thier names. Have photo album

Comments: My uncle, Lawrence Edward Bremer, served in Korea in 1950. I believe he was with the 2nd infantry division because I found a book on this division in my grandmother's belongings. Also in her belongings was a beautiful photo album that my uncle had from Korea full of pictures he had made when he was there. Unfortunately, none of the pictures are labelled and there is no way to identify people or places. My uncle died in a car wreck in 1953, but I would love for this photo album to go to someone who might recognize something from there. Please contact me if you would like more information.

Comments: My Uncle John Raymond Sackfield is deceased. We loved him very much. His youngest daughter just had her first child (a son- Noe). I thought it would be nice to give some history of their father/grandfather to them since Raymond never told us about his service in the military. The government deemed it fitting to honor him and I want his grandson to be proud of him even though they never met. Raymond died in 1980. I am also the family historian. ALLAN LEMIEUX and was with the 2nd Infantry, was an ImJin Scout, and has the collar device of the Combat Engineer Corps. I do know he was wounded and was lost from his unit and my mother received a telegram stateing that he was listed as MIA. Some of his buddies found him and he was near death wounded several times. Comments: Glen Propes is my uncle and he is alive and quite talkative in Houston, Tx. He would love to hear from other veterans of MacArthurs mistake. Anyone know Raymond Crandall?

Comments: I am looking for anyone who knew Raymond Crandall from Baltimore, Md. The only thing we have is a copy of his discharge papers which say he was discharged from the 522d Inf Bn Ft Sill Okla. We understand he was injured at Pork Chop Hill. He went into service Feb 1952 and was out in Jan 1955. He never spoke of his service time,not even to his sister to whom he was very close. We also have a 2nd infantry division patch. He suffered from mental illness later in life and we don't know if he got the patch at a yard sale or if it actually was his. He died in Feb 1997. My husband would greatly appreciate any information on his father during those years.
