Unfortunally I never got to meet him as he was deceased when I married Richard, Jr. and his mother never talked much about him and the war. Basically we're starting from scratch so anything would be of help.

Comments: I'm seeking information for Pfc Richard Weil, a veteran tank driver while in Korea; who served with the 38th Tank Co/38th Reg/2nd Div. Veteran Weil needs assistance with additional documentation of an incedent whereby his Tank Co was called appon to rescue a Colonel and his driver from a pinned-down possition near the central highlands in South Korea during May of 1951. Comments: I am looking for anyone that may have known my father; Clifford B. Thiebold, M/Sgt in US Army 2nd. Inf. Div., in Korean Conflict. Wrote many letters from his foxhole. In Korea beginning 1951. His nickname, or the name his friends called him was "Bud" or "Buddy."

Comments: Perhaps you are the member or know of any one from Crew of Tank TK-45 "Trouble" from Korean War? My husband John Klimek was commander of that tank. He was twice in Korea. Comments: I am looking for information on Sgt. Leonard S. York. He was drafted in 1951. I have numerous pictures of his unit and buddies. The only names that I can make out are J.E. Myers, Hugh Cullums, John Joplin and Sgt. Harman House. The writing is old, so they could be spelled different. If anyone would like them, please contact me. I also have a picture of Sgt. York, and another soldier with the 500,000 round of artillery fired in Korea. I would like to find out who he is.

Comments: I am looking for anyone who remembers my father, Carroll W. Young, who served from 1950 to 1953. I am his youngest daughter and have just recieved his old war papers from my mother. He passed away while I was very young, and I am hoping to re connect with anyone who might have known him. He served in Korea, in the "H" 364 Inf. Regt. and the "B" 38th Inf. Regt. I do not know any additional information, as little was kept. I do know that he rescued two men from enemy attack on May 17 1951 near Panmegi-ri Korea, but do not know thier names. Thank you to any and all responses. I also have a copy of a letter for Sergent Joseph I Kirkpatrick, and Richard Powell who along with my father recieved Siver Stars. If any of thier family would like this detailed letter please email me and I would be more than happy to mail it to them.
