LOOKING FOR DON MASUI WITH WAR CRIMES KOREAN WAR 1953 |
| LAWRENCE NEAL wrote on March 2, 2008 City and State: SEQUIM WA Unit: 2ND INFANTRY DIVISION Service or Relationship: FRIEND OF VETERAN Comments: I am Lawrence Neal. I served in the 2nd Infantry Division in Korea in 1953. I met a man (rank unknown) with covert operations named Donald Masui. I would like to know what happened to him after I left Korea in 1953. After the war ended I tried to find him through military channels and was unable to confirm his service with our military. Does anyone know Don or know of him. If you have information regarding him I would appreciate an email or phone call. He was a good friend to me and I would like to reconnect if it is possible. CORNELIUS (NEIL) SHERMAN |
| NEIL SHERMAN JR. wrote on May 19, 2007 City and State: GERMANTOWN TN Unit: Service or Relationship: OTHER Comments: My father Cornelius A. (Neil) Sherman was a Master Sargeant with GHQ in Tokyo. He was with a CID unit. When the Korean War began he was sent to Korea and we lived in Tokyo for the next two years. When he came home, we returned to the U.S. My guess is that he was CID. He did become a Warrent Officer and later a 2nd LT. Keywords: Looking for the unit my father Cornelus (Neil) Sherman. |

CID CAPT. PAUL MARTIN IN PUSAN |
| LINDA J. CHARLES wrote on May 28, 2001 City and State: LOS ANGELES CA Unit: Service or Relationship: INTERESTED PERSON Comments: My name is Linda and I have been searching for a Captain Paul Martin who just about every weekend took food to my grandmother during the Korean War. My information on him is sketchy, but here is what I know: He was from Philadelphia, his mother was a beauty operator, he had 2 sisters, was Catholic, but was divorced before he was in Pusan. Apparently he was in Tokyo before he came to Korea. I am not sure if he was a WWII Veteran as well. I know he was a member of the CID, that he was multi-lingual and that German was one of the languages that he spoke. He was not a tall man and I think he had light brown hair with green eyes? Had a great sense of humor and I think he had a photo of him and his 2 sisters? He was separated from the service in NYC in mid June 1953 and I have been looking for him for 30 years now. Unfortunately, I do not have his DOB, Serial #, nor his SS#. If anyone knows ANYTHING re: this fine man, PLEASE contact me immediately at my email or at my Phone/Fax: 323-461-5252 at any time. Thank you very much and God Bless You Veterans... Linda J. Charles Keywords: Lee, Chun Hwa |
