Comments: I am trying to find any info on my dad who served in Korea. He didn't discuss anything with me when he was alive. I have very few documents and don't know what they mean. Any info on how to get started would be much appreciated. I believe he served from 1952-1954. I know it was Korea but don't know where or what he did. I have a document stating he got a Bronze Star Medal HQ 45 Infantry Division 18 in 1953. All other papers say HQ & HQ Co. 279th Infantry Regiment.

The Journal I have is just over 200 pages - with pictures and the bullitin from that Easter service. The three month account is startling vivid, he pulled no punches on what it was REALLY like there, and in fact shared so much that I was revited until the final page. I will have it published at some point in time...and have a friend who is going to help me through this process. If anyone remembers my Dad, you can write me or call. I'll keep you posted on the Journal...
