Comments: My memory has greatly faded over the years, but was in Osaka with the 25th Inf. We shipped to Pusan, Korea in July, 1950 and I was assigned to a QM truck company. We hauled replacements up to various line companies, Korean civilian amo bearers, amo, explosives, etc, etc. Unfortunatly, cannot remember the trucking company unit number,...or any other identifying numbers or names,(to include the COs name or the 1st Sgt name). other than 25th Inf., QM Trucking Company. As I recall it, we were in a far Northern part of Korea when the Chinese hit. I can remember only two or three names from my outfit: Emmet Sizemore, a guy named Frick, and a mechanic named Beran, (or something close to that). After the retreat, Sizemore & I had to (volunteered by command) each take our trucks & return North looking for stragglers. Am hoping someone whos memory of that time is better than mine will recognise something familier here and respond to me. Your having been in the same trucking company as I would be to much to hope for I know, but anything even close to that would be a great start. (Cpl) Clifford LARRY Skaggs.
