Comments: My father sereved in Korea (1951-53), he recently passed away, and in his personel effects, we discovered a photo album with several dozen photos of him and others while in Korea. Some are your basic "buddy shots", others are what appear to be prisoners of war, and still others are rather graphic shots of dead Korean soliders.
None of our family can ever remember seeing these photos, including both of his brothers, also Korean War Vets. He rarely ever spoke of his time in Korea, and so the discovery of these photos has peaked our families interest in our Dad.
I'm interested in sharing these photos with all interested. We are not looking to profit from these photos, however we do not want anyone else to make money from them either.
I'm also having trouble deciphering his military record(s), so I could also use some help with that.

Comments: Kelly L. Stone served as a guard for McArthur in Japan during the Korean War sometime prior to 8/31/50 when he was reported KIA in Korea. He was reported MIA which was changed to KIA in '53 while in the 35th Inf. Reg., 25th Division. Looking for any information about his service years (unit? where served/fought/went missing and/ordied? anything).

Comments: I would like to hear from anyone who might have known, or served with, Cpl. Arnold E. Haugen. He died, not as a result of hostile action, on Mar. 7, 1951. I believe he was a member of the 25 MP Co., 25th Inf. Div. Cpl. Haugen was my uncle. He has 2 brothers and 2 sisters still living in SD. One brother is my dad, who is 92 yrs. old.

US Army KIA unit unknown
Mr. Barker - 1995
I would like to obtain the military record of a deceased uncle, killed
in action in Korea.
Name: Arnold Haugen
KIA approximately 1951 or 52, I believe. He was from southeastern South
Dakota, most likely Baltic.
Any info that you can find would be great.
Thanks,

From KWP: There is no match on the casualty list. If anyone has data,
please forward.
Update 28 Aug 2003 Arnold was one of the non-hostile casualties that
we have been to get DOD to post to the DIOR KCCF file. Now
on the KWP UCF Cas file
