187TH FAOB |
| ALAN PASSMORE wrote on September 3, 2001 CITY AND STATE: FL UNIT: 'A' - 'B' BATTERIES 235TH FAOB SERVICE OR RELATIONSHIP: ARMY VETERAN - KOREA Comments: You may recall the 187th FAOB helped train the 235th in 1952. I had just returned from the Far East and was involved with that training. I followed over the next year 1953 and joined up with "A" Battery and finally transfered to "B" Battery. I then took an INTERFECOM transfer to Japan and joined the 1st Cav Div. The reason I bring all this up is that the 187th is having it's annual reunion in S.C. this October 7,8 and 9 and there are some other members that went with the 235th in 1952. I stood at the train station and waved goodbye thinking I had done my tour over there and wouldn't be going back. Surprise, surprise. Anyway hope that you find something of value in this short note.
