Comments: My Grandfather spent some time in the 224th, I am unsure of the company or platoon. I am trying to build him a shadowbox. If anyone could help me get a hold of an actual 224th crest, patch, ect. I would be in your debt. Thank you to all of the Vets, I for one have not forgotten.

Comments: Several years ago, I found a letter and a picture from an army soldier that was addressed to his parents. The letter was dated Monday, Feb., 10, 1952.
In the letter he writes about the Operation Clam-Up schedule.
He closes the letter with "Lots of Love", Robert and PS - I love you all very much.
I am interested in finding out Robert's last name so that I may locate his family and provide them with this letter.
Thanks! js
