He was in the 153rd Transportation Unit and spent 20 or so days in this hospital. Does anyone know how I can find admission records or other such info to show that Mr. Green was there. Mr. Greens military med records were burned up in the fire, so some other sort of proof is his only hope. Keywords: morning reports, admission records

WIDEMAN wrote on July 12, 2000 City and State: BLOOMINGTON MN Unit: Service or Relationship: ARMY VETERAN - KOREA Comments: I was an orthopedic surgical technition assigned to the first evac. hosp. in Pusan in early July 1950. As I recall it was the 21st but I am not positive. The hosp. was made up with medical personal from all over Japan. All of our early patients were from 21st infantry regiment 24th division. Two orthopedic surgeons I recall working with were: Preston Taylor from Utah and Lt. Col. Zalkan.I was there until Aug. or Sept. 1951 at which time I was rotated back to the States. Can anyone verify the unit number of the first evac. hosp. in Pusan (July 1950)? Keywords:
