I am currently using two email addresses, piersol@ktsnet.com and piersol@discoverycenter.com. I have had some phone calls looking for veterans in Korea during 1950-1953 that might have been attached to my unit or that I might have known. I try to help them locate folks. I am a legal investigator and have some resources to locate people. Feel free to email me at one of the addresses above and I will try to help. I plan to be in Shreveport La. during the up-coming Korean Vet convention in October 2005. You all come Regards John Piersol Keywords: |

CID CAPT. PAUL MARTIN IN PUSAN |
| LINDA J. CHARLES wrote on May 28, 2001 City and State: LOS ANGELES CA Unit: Service or Relationship: INTERESTED PERSON Comments: My name is Linda Charles and I have been searching for a Captain Paul Martin who was the man that had taken food to my beloved Korean grandmother during the Korean War. She said he would usually see her about every weekend. I have been searching for this special man for 30 years now and would very much like to talk to him or meet him if he is still alive. He was stationed in Pusan and was a Lieutenant before he was promoted to Captain. He was from Philadelphia and my grandmother told me his mom was a beauty operator and that he had two sisters? He was Catholic and had been divorced before he came to Korea. We think he was in Tokyo before he went to Korea. He was not tall in stature and apparently had light brown hair and green eyes? Was multi-lingual and one of the languages he spoke was German. Unfortunately, I do not have his DOB, Serial # nor SS#. ANYONE who knows anything about this fine man, would you PLEASE contact me immediately at my information I have provided. Thank you very much and God Bless all you Veterans. Your sacrifices and those of our other fallen heroes provided life, safety and freedom for my family and for this world. With deepest heartfelt gratitude, Linda J. Charles Keywords: Lee, Chun Wha I know he was stationed in Pusan from late 1951 and was separated from the Army in NY in mid 1953. |
