Finished basic at Camp Polk in 1946 whenthe 2oth was born . Since I had been a radio officer for 3yrs at sea and a Ham was given the job of picking personnel /equipment SCR399/508/522/ etc Set up school to train operators etc . Taught andmade T/Sgt in six months because of this . Had excellent men and over the years have lost track . We moved to Ft Bragg in 1947 and wereon Smokebomb Hill area .Would like to hear from original members -Birminham/Saperstien/Woodward/ Saunders/Pierro/Reardon/ Aligas/ and others who helped form the 20th.
