Comments: My father, Raymond Lane Burke, was KIA near Hasaenaenk-ni, Korea on March 27, 1951. He was a member of the 19th Infantry Regiment, 24th Infantry Division, 1st Battalion. I would like to be in touch with anyone who may have served with him or knows the circumstances of his death. I know from his letters that he participated in Operations Killer and Ripper. He went as far as the Yalu River. I was a small child when he was killed, and all I have are some letters and pictures. He was buried in Arlington Cemetery on October 31, 1951.

Not only was the first game rained out, but the MP's routed us out of a gin mill that night, then we were ordered to get on the train to go back to Beppu and "I lost the chance to get my letter" We were going to war.

Comments: Johnny Barton was my uncle and was KIA on 2/04/51. I was born three months after he was killed, so I never knew him. I do not know which company he was in or where he was killed. Would appreciate any information on him that anyone has, like what he was like and what was happening on that day he was killed. I wear a ring that was with his personal effects and also have his middle name, so I am reminded daily about him and those who served in this terrible war. I want to thank all those who served our country during this war.

The chinese kept the firing upon his position for more than an hour, his unit could not reach him. He finally got up and ran and reunited himself with his unit, and was evacuated by quad-50 half trac, which came close to taking direct hits by mortar fire during the evacuation. If any of you recall this or my father, e-mail me and i will put you in touch with him. God bless you all.

Comments: CORRECTION: Korean Veteran Walter "Ray" Crowe is searching for a fellow vet for years thought to be KIA but recently discovered to be still with living. We listed his buddys last name as Bellamy (Maybe Willis) but may have been a last name of Barrett or Baity. Any information is appreciated. If anything, all we need is a confirmation of a man searving in the Korean war in the 24th infantry division 19th regiment with either of the names listed. Thank you.
