DID YOU KNOW MY DAD? |
| IRIS PADULA-PENOYER wrote on June 3, 2006 City and State: ELK GROVE CA Unit: 17TH ORD MM CO Service or Relationship: ARMY VETERAN Comments: My Veteren dad Edward Joseph Padula died when I was 13 after his retirement of 20 yrs in the service. His military jacket I just received, shows he arrived in Korea 10/2/50 and left 12/31/51 and was with the 17th Ord MM Co. I know he worked on tanks during prior service. His jacket noted "Armored". I am looking for anyone who may have known him, any information on what/when this unit did while there, anyone who might have pictures of this unit. It wasn't until last year I even learned he was in the Korean war, which actually explains what happened through the remaining 20 years of his life. I would give anything for any information on my dad or where he'd been as I have little. God Bless all of you and your families that served in this war and gave so much. And thanks so much for your time :-) Keywords: 17th Ord MM Co 50-51 Korea 1950-1951 A Father's Daugher's need to know :-) |
