Comments: My father was approx. 1 year younger than PFC Ralph Zecco, he was also in the Army. He never stopped looking for his brother. Why weren't his remains never found? Could he have been a prisoner of war? My father, Staff SGT. Patsy Zecco believed this to be the case.
Thank you, Arlene Bond

Comments: I am a student at the Massachusetts Maritime Academy and I am trying to do a favor for one of my instructors. He is a Korean War veteran and he lost track of his best friend after the war. I am trying to find that friend or at least give him some information on where he is. Here is what I know: -His name is Roosevelt Nickerson -He was last known to live in Mississippi in Decmeber of 1954 -He was part of the 7th Infantry, 17th Regiment -At the time it was known as 7th Division -He was injured in combat but returned to combat after his recovery
I realize I have very little to go on but if you were part of this unit of know anything I would appreciate the help. I truely don't even know the man is still alive today. If you know of any sites I can search or something you think may help please dont hesitate to send me an email. Thank you. -4/C Schultz

Comments: John was my uncle and i am interested in knowing if anyone has any information on his last few days. He died at the age of 20 yrs. His home town was Mears, Michigan. Was told he was promoted to the rank of sergeant right before his death 03/10/1951. He wrote a letter to my Grandparents 3 days before he died. He told of how his outfit was about to leave on a night offensive and he had been above the 38th Parallel and didn't wish to return. His family would love any information from the men he servied with. Thank you all.

Apparently considered a possible POW for awhile. No body ever found. Would appreciate any personal information or leads on areas for research.

Comments: I would very much like to hear from anyone that served with my Father on Porkchop Hill.I'm sure he would appreciate seeing them again also.He served the Army from 1951-1954.He was given a Purple Heart;but like many others I am told cannot receive their medals unless someone comes forward as a witness to their actions in war because of paperwork in those years. His seperation paper says he was to receive 2 Bronz stars. It is more important to me that he receives them because I am sure he deserves them.
