Just a few days there then was homeward bound.

Comments: I was a forward observer with the 171 Fa Bn 45th Div from October 52 until its colors were returned to the states. As such I called in fire missions for many Artillery Batterys and Infantry Companys in various battles all along the 45th front. After the 45th left Korea I was transfered to a forward observer battalion of 8th army and lost all contact with anyone who served with me. Like so many Korean Vets I have tried to forget many of my experiences for nearly 50 years but now I think I am ready to hear from someone who can talk about some common experiences. I would be happy to hear from anyone concerning that time frame.
