Comments: Hi, I'm trying to help my grandpa locate soldiers he served with in Korea. His name is Dave Farrell and he was in How Company, 2nd battalion, machine gun platoon. He was in Korea from Jan. 1953 until November 1953. He remembers a higher ranking officer, sergeant I think, named Ted Scott. He would really like to know how to contact him. If anyone served with my grandpa, please contact me, my email is utefarrell@hotmail.com and I'd love to get him in touch with you. Thanks!

Comments: Freddie Martin of Palestine Texas serve in the Korean War in 1952-1953 (?) in Chorwon Valley near an area he refers to as (3) rivers. He's not sure if that's the actual name of the area (3) rivers but certainly what he and his unit named it. Freddie Martins records were destroyed in the 1973 fire; his personal records reflect that he entered into the Army in December 1952 and serve in the Korean War shortly thereafter. If you remember Freddie (Shorty), Jerry Mims or Curly Young in Co H, 3rd Div Inf, 15th Reg., please contact me at 817-996-5813.
