Comments: My father in law served with this unit. He was Sargent 1st Class William (Bill) Henshaw from Scottsboro Alabama. He talks about building a bridge which he calls the Alabama Bridge. I am working on a keep sake for him of his ribbons, pins, etc. and I would like to include a picture of this bridge. I understand it is still there. If anyone could email me a picture of this bridge my father in law and I would greatly appreciate. Thank you all for your service.

Comments: Looking for anyone that might remember my Dad, Stephen Sherwood. He served from 1950 to 1952 and then reserve from 1952 -1956. He grew up in Holly Colorado. Was at Cmp Cooke in 1950. He collected pics of his time in Korea. He never talked much about it. But, spoke honorably of the fellows pics he had in his little box. Dad died in 1994 of cancer. Big guy with a big heart and big hands. He love to work on engines. Do you remember him? Sincerely, Shannon Roemer

Comments: Do not remember much about my time in Korea. I only wish I had kept a list of names from my company. I served with 151st Combat Eng., Company "B", 3rd Squad, Capt Jones was our Company CO. at the time, he was later transferred. After several months with the company I learned most of the fellows were going back home so I had always thought about becoming a "cook" so the cook's took me in and taught me all they knew. Soon after I became the "mess sgt". The name I remember the most was a cook named "Lovelace". I remember the time we were also straffed by our own jets, they were Navy Panther Jets who were also straffing the MSR thinking a convoy of trucks were North Koreans. Does anyone remember the fire in the old korean school house in the middle of winter? Would like to hear from anyone who served with Company 'B", Third Platoon, Third Squad. Sgt Robert Barner

I was in B Company, 151st Engineer Combat Battalion and spent most of
my 18 months in Korea north of the 38th parallel.

My wife has so far found three of my Army buddies by using Infospace.com
and doing a people search. We just returned from a weekend visit with
Fred B. Keslar in Boardman, OH; only the 2nd time in 45 years that
Fred & I have seen each other.

I look forward to visiting another Army buddy, Clarence Viers in
Christianburg, VA within the next few weeks.

I will be exploring the various links found thru this web site, to try
to locate other friends.
