MAJOR GENERAL HOMER EATON |
| DANIEL DRABINSKY wrote on May 8, 2012 City and State: Unit: N/A Service or Relationship: OTHER Comments: My name is Daniel Drabinsky I reside in Los Angeles California. I am a historian and an expert in spotting items of historical value. Last week an old lady walked into a local goodwill store and dropped off several items. I at first did not pay attention to the items and a few of the items sold. Out of curiousity I examined one of the items more closely and found a name typed on the inside of one of the items. This of course changed everything. The items were the PERSONAL EFFECTS OF MAJOR GENERAL HOMER EATON. I bought all the items immediately for the museum here in California. However, who was the elderly woman???????? I need your help on this one folks Keywords: Descendants of Major General Homer Eaton |

| JOHN HODGSON wrote on October 18, 2011 City and State: Unit: Service or Relationship: AIR FORCE VETERAN Comments: My father-in-law, Cpl Melvin Smith, was assigned to Btry A, 143rd FA BN during the Korean War (51-53). He passed away recently and I am trying to acquire the unit insignia during the time of the Korean War to build a shadow box to accompany the flag the family received at the funeral. Melvin told me on many times he performed sniper duty during his time in Korea and had nightmares until his last breath. We must ensure our younger generations do not forget the sacrifices our troops made in Korea. Keywords: |
