Comments: Looking for old buddies. Last names,Mancil,Steadman. Sorry I Do not remember their first names. Mancil was the low bed driver and Steadman was the crane operator and I worked with him.Mancil, I believe was from Alabama and Steadman was from Rhode Island.

Comments: I was stationed at the Water Point, standing guard one night, when enemy troops came through the back of the tent where 22 of our men were sleeping. I shot the intruders, and was shot in the arm by their fire. I was near Cornelius Cohn's bunk and the spent cartridges from my firing were hitting him. If any of you are reading this and remember the incident, please contact me at the above email address, as I don't have email. PJ Perry is my DAV service officer and is helping me file my claim. July 1950 to July 1951. He would like to hear from those men who served

Gordon W. Uhl was assigned to Headquarters, 24th Division in Kokura,
Japan before shipping out to Korea. He arrived in Korea on 10 July 1950
assigned to Headquarters of the 11th Combat Engineers Bn.. He was the
Battalion Sargent Major. He retired from the Army in Fort Knox, KY with
30 years service and now lives in Florida.
