Association Details:

I was an original member of the 815th when it came into existence. I helped design the squadron insignia of the Jenny in the horseshoe naming the squadron the Flying Jennies with red and white colors. We were a reserve outfit in Portland Oregon and was the 403rd TCWing at that time and the 65th TCSqdn. We regular AF personnel were incorporated into the wing and put on active duty. We shipped to Japan where we became the 483rdTCWing.Our sqdn commander was Maj Barclay and my maintenance officer was Lt Bill Hargis.
