Association Details:

We are an Association for current active duty personnel and former members of the 17th Infantry Regiment who saw service during World War II, Korea, Vietnam, Panama, or peacetime service. Membership is also open to anyone who was in direct support of the 17th Infantry at any time. Example: 73rd Tank Bn, 49th Field Artillery BN, 13th Engineer BN, etc ....

The purpose of the 17th Infantry Regiment Association is to establish and maintain a non-profit, tax exempt organization, operating as a financially self-sustaining, non-governmental, private veteran's organization.

Membership, on a voluntary basis, is solicited from the ranks of personnel who are either currently serving or have honorably served with the 17th Infantry Regiment. Service may have been in war or peace. Membership is offered as well to spouses of deceased members and their children.

The object of the 17th Infantry Regiment Association is to preserve and strengthen the bonds of friendship and camaraderie among the members through reunions, meetings, publications and other social activities.
