Comments:

Was stationed at Nouasseur in the 736 AC&W squadron from
8/61 until they closed our radar site in 4/62. They sent me
85 miles South to Ben Geurir AFB outside of Marrakesh until
Dec. '62 when I rotated back to the States and Vandenberg
AFB, California. I separated in September 1964.

Comments:

I served in Morroco from Mar 53 till Nov 55 +- under the name JOSEPH L. LAMBERT A1/C AF 11241785

I was originally assigned to a Tent City in Rabat as a Motorized Mechanic (from Cheyenne Wyo AFB). After 3 days I reported to GRP Hdq (Col Killer Kane,Commdr) and was assigned a temp AFSC of Interpreter/Translator (French). Was moved to Oujda, Morroco (lived off post unil the Moroccan uprising in summer of '55) and served the AC and W sites in the north Sahara.

If we connect, I will dig out more info from my meager military history files'.
